The beginning of this year, little Andrew started standing . . . that is to say, he began pulling himself up to stand, and walking holding onto objects such as the rocking chair, toys with wheels and our fingers.

As his confidence grew, he began to discover a whole new world (which was once out of sight).

Once he gained the strength to stand up, he was no longer content sitting and playing with toys at his side.

His fascination with the piano, began long before he could reach the keys, but we loved watching him explore it on his own.

Then, one evening in February, little Andrew pulled himself up to Grandma Mosie's coffee table and walked, first from one end to the other, and then around the whole table. We knew it would not be long before he would be walking completely on his own. It was really exciting for Jeff and me to see little Andrew start to do so many new things.
From about 10 months on, Andrew was pretty much finished with finely pureed baby food, and began to slowly feed himself and turn snacks over and over in his hands. As with everything, his curiosity and inquisitive nature continues to entertain and inspire us. It's magical to see him explore everything from new foods to our new surroundings in Dallas.
