Best Buds

It's been nice for Cristina and I to finally be able to settle in to a city.  In the past 4 years, we have moved 11 times... 11 times! Now that we have been here in Seattle for 10 months, we are really starting to cultivate some great friendships.  Andrew is as well, of course!

Today, Cristina and her friend, Jenny, took these two little buddies to IKEA.  As you can see, they had a great time palling around with each other...

What's really cute is that Andrew always remembers to pray for his friends each night.  "Merci pour E-yi, Merci pour (m)I-yo, Merci pour Jack, Merci pour O-yie....."and so on... His Ls are pronounced with a Y, but we get the drift and so does our Heavenly Father.  

Prayer is something in which Cristina and I strongly believe; we have seen unexplainable blessings come from simple, heartfelt words and pleas.  We know that God is listening and waiting to help us, so we want Andrew to grow up knowing the power of prayer as well.  And it's amazing that Andrew, a 2 year old, ALWAYS remembers to say his prayers - each time we sit down to eat, whenever we read scriptures, or whenever we go to bed, he quickly folds his arms, bows his head, and starts saying what he can of a prayer.  He is a great example to us in so many ways.
