First stop, Wells Fargo Bank to visit Papa. After weeks of trying to get Andrew interested in wearing his costume, he finally put it on the morning of Halloween (much to the delight of his parents). He got a lollypop from every banker and teller and then fell asleep in the car on the way home!
Andrew was delighted by the sight of powder sugar donuts on a string - something he had never eaten before!
He raced his two friends, Milo and Oliver Currit, and to his delight he won the race.
First treat of the night was another cherry lollypop. We attended a Halloween Carnival on the front lawn of the church and had a great time with all his friends from the Primary.
Andrew had specific instructions to stay close to his mother while she was helping other children to apple cider, preparing the donut races and handing out candy. He was really obedient with the help of a fruit roll-up!
And finally, round two for the donut race. A kind member of the bishopric, Jake Anderson, helped Andrew eat another donut off the string. Apparently, toddlers have different rules when it comes to this game of donut-on-a-string requiring you eat without your hands to steady the donut :)
